Hello, Tatiana,
I am so sorry to know about your health. But I hope by the time you receive this message you are already feeling better.I don't often pray. But when I do, I do it with all seriousness. So, I prayed for you.Take care.
Tatiana,as a Tibetan I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for every thing you do to help support Tibetan cause.I know Tibetans and Tibetan supporters will all appreciate you standing up for our just cause with us.Please do not be disheartened if ever we fail to participate again in an event you may organize. Because due to the nature of our work schedules, and being Tibetans ( we need many hrs. off from work to take part in all protests, fund raising, I can go on and on) , we have to fight between tooth and nail to get time off to participate as many our cause related programs as possible. But some times when we can not make it,do understand our situation. When we see our good and kind supporters like yourself get upset because we could not make it to the program or any thing related to bring Tibet awareness organized by you, that just makes our life that much more difficult .We have to be very thrifty with our days off. Most of us use all our vacation hours to participate in every thing that's going on around us.
Right now, I am dieing to go to Switzerland to land my voice to Swiss Tibetans in front of UNO High Commissioner Navi Pallay's office for her refusal to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama. But I can not.I have no vacation hours left till next year. So, this is our plight .Money is the next problem. "BILLS" you see.We can not ignore our political problems about Tibet and we can not afford to lose our job.
But some times we Tibetans are simply dump, and we do not get it.At such a time I want you to understand us.I really want you to know that every thing you do for a Tibetan cause is not only appreciated by the Tibetans here but also by my brothers and sisters back home in Tibet as well.On this note I would like say Tashi Delex ; and look forward to hearing from you with good news about your health.
Sincerely
Dechen.

Thanks for the invite Jangchup Lingpa. I have been pulling back since our event in May because of complicated health reasons and being on dialysis. I was very dissappointed after all my almost two years of championing the rights and actually giving funds to support Tibetan support, no Tibetans joined or showed with us. My heart is still for Tibet. I'm 100% supportive of Tibet's Independence.
Tibet belongs to Tibet is my bottom line answer, not to the Communist Chinese, ever. My prayers continue for H. H. The Dalai Lama, the peoples of Tibet and that the religion of Tibet will remain intact as the well being of monks and sisters of Tibet.
Tashi Delek Jangchup. God Bless you.
A Friend of Peace and Yours,

Correction on Dechen's comment on Tibetan Freedom or Autonomous Region under China-Which is preferred?:.......quit fighting. As long as the sun and the moon exist to shine the light on earth and we remain with conviction(and not convicted) to achieve our goal and not give up; our nation's future is still in our hands to determine.

Complete Tibetan Independence is what we need to look at and concentrate upon.Without the absolute independence, our chance for survival as an ethnic Tibetan race, culture ,religion and language has a very slim chance, especially under an intolerant regime like that of communist China. And I have never known myself as a Chinese neither did my parents nor my great grand parents. So how can I a-peace myself, let alone any one else by saying and pretend to believe that Tibet is a part of China, when, in reality it is not true.
So right now we are two sides waiting to see a change to happen:(1) Tibetans looking forward to democracy in China;with that a better and more realistic government to take the place of C.C.P.(2)China is waiting like vultures for the worst possible thing to happen to the Tibetans. The death of His Holiness. And that is a bad idea for China. What China does not realize is that they are waiting to lose one of the most reasonable and China friendly figure among the Tibetan ethnic group.
Our struggle has been a non-violent one, and we should stay on that path as long as it takes to achieve our goal. Some people say it is hopeless to fight for Tibet's independence because it is unachievable. Those people are absolutely wrong about that.It would be unachievable if we give up,if we quit fighting. As long as the sun and the moon exist to shine the light on earth and we remain convicted to our goal and not give up; our nation's future is still in our hands to determine. So, I say complete Independence !!! Nothing less than that.
